Please join us for #MarburnCon18 – Mathematics: From Research to Results, a national conference on learning differences in education.

This two-day conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Paul Riccomini an experienced classroom teacher, author, mathematician and leading special education expert who has taught mathematics to both general and special education students in inclusive settings. He is the co-author of the best-selling Response to Intervention in Math (Corwin, 2009), one of the first books to address RTI in math, and Developing Number Sense through the Common Core (Corwin 2013). Currently, he is an associate professor of education at Pennsylvania State University.

Breakout sessions on the following topics from experts in the field of mathematics will include:

- Deciphering Evidence to Improve Mathematics Instruction

- Effective Assessment Practices to Support Student Mathematics Achievement

- Designing Instruction to Support Conceptual Understanding of Fractions

- Learn It! Remember It! Enhance Math Retention with More Effective Practice

- Using Worked Examples and Solutions to Enhance Algebraic Reasoning for Students of All Ages and Abilities
